about me :)

My name is Sofia Yang, a Communication and

Multimedia Design student based in the Netherlands.

I have a strong background in Graphic Design, but in recent years I have made a shift towards UI/UX Design.

Creating is something I love to do and I always aspire to improve.

This case study explores the development journey of a restaurant finder app designed to simplify the process of discovering and reserving dining hotspots. The app aims to provide a seamless user experience by combining convenience, social connectivity, and personalized recommendations.

Discover Job Website

Discover is a startup that uses the DISC model to match job seekers with personalized job opportunities. Users take a quiz to determine their dominant personality trait, and the platform filters job listings accordingly. This approach improves job satisfaction and helps companies find candidates who align with their culture.

Caribou Coffee Brand Refresh

Caribou Coffee underwent a brand refresh to attract younger consumers while maintaining appeal to its core audience and expanding beyond coffeehouses. The refreshed brand expression promoted positivity, approachability, and humor through vibrant visuals and playful packaging featuring positive messages.
